Collection: RESALE ROYALTY MANIFESTO COLLECTION

The Artists' Resale Royalty Blockchain series (2022) is a visual art response to The Artists' Resale Royalty Blockchain Manifesto. 

The Artists' Resale Royalty Blockchain series is a deep dive into the various ways that artists, art agents and art collectors might engage with blockchain and NFT technology. Each artwork responds to a particular method of application for this technology, exploring the various possibilities for how an artist might use blockchain to sell physical material works as well as digital art sold online with an NFT.

This one-off collection of text-based paintings and digital artworks reference the works of Richard Bell and Billy Apple for their leadership in art activism, paving the way for new generations of artists to challenge art markets and organisations to be more responsive to the needs of artists.   

The series is an R_SQRD collaboration.
